My first update in a really long time!

I'm currently spending my summer in hot sweaty weather in Vancouver, BC. Other than experiencing the hot sweaty weather, I'm very glad to be home. I've been spending most of my days painting little oil paintings to sell at art sales. I will soon be starting a oil portrait of my uncle's three dogs, which I am excited for.

Recently, I went to visit the Public Dreams Illuminaires Lantern Festival at Trout Lake Community Center. I volunteered to install some of the sets for the festival. There was a huge variety of lanterns made by the community that I wish I took some pictures for! Their website can be found at http://www.publicdreams.org/index.html. The next festival, alas, will be in two years.
